Coupon Tip

One of my friends and faithful Savvy Moms followers sent me some great information on couponing!  She is amazing at it and I would love to live with her for a week to learn all of her secrets.  (She also has amazing organizing tips that I am hoping to learn someday).

For now- here is Couponing 101:

"Did you know that Yokes will accept all competitor's coupons? This means you can use Fred Meyer, Albertsons or Safeway coupons all together, all at one location taking just one shopping trip instead of three, along with getting Yokes current great deals. What a score!! So, for example, Fred Meyer has a coupon in this past Sunday's paper for Kellogg's Cereal 5 boxes for $10. Take that coupon in to Yokes and use the Fred Meyer coupon along with the Kellogg's cereal coupons that came in the slick ads in last Sunday's paper (hopefully you collected your neighbors unwanted coupons as well) AND then use Albertson's double coupons that were in this Sunday's paper for even more savings. Yes, Yokes will take even the Albertsons double coupons!"

Check with your local stores to see what competitor's coupons they will take!  This will save you the time and gas of traveling all over.  What a great tip!  Thanks Kim.
