30 Meals in one Day {Review}- AND GIVEAWAY!
Update: They just offered a giveaway to one reader! See below
How often do you find yourself trying to hurry and figure out what to do for dinner? Dinner time rolls around and you haven't even THOUGHT about it all day! Now everyone is hungry and the time to make dinner is gone, do you reach for the phone and order something? How great it would be if you had a homecooked meal all ready to go! Well 30 Meals in One Day is trying to help the "Oh no! What should we do for Dinner!?" panic.
30 Meals in One Day has planned out a Freezer cooking day for you so that you can prepare 30 Meals... in yes.. ONE DAY! They have a step by step guide to help you not waste any time on getting your meals ready. What a great guide!
What I really loved about their cookbooks is that the recipes were ones that almost anyone would like. They use basic ingredients that you are likely to have on hand.
I have to be honest. The first time I made one of their recipes... it never made it in the freezer... or the second time... It was SO GOOD! We ended up eating it right then and there. Finally I learned and made enough for us to eat right away AND to freeze.
One of my favorite meals is their Cream Cheese Chicken that they share on their website. We love it over noodles. I actually just cooked my chicken in the butter and seasoning like they said and then just froze it like that. Then when I was ready to use it I added the cream cheese sauce. It worked great.
You can also buy the software that works great and helps you plan out everything. It will print out a grocery list and menu for you. You can also print your lables of how to prepare your food and put it right on your frozen meal. That way when you get it out to eat it you don't have to dig out your cookbooks as well.
I love these books! If you are debating on what to get and only want to get one to start out. I recommend the Dinner is Ready book. It is only $12.95 and well worth it to help you get some great homecooked meals in your freezer for those crazy days.

On crazy nights we usually end up snacking on whatever is quick!
Okay our fast meals are tacos or breakfast burritos. We are having tacos tonight - it is in the plan. I know it will be one of those nights that I need a fast meal.
Pasta! I like to saute some garlic with butter and mix it all up with parmesan cheese. Totally not healthy, but tastes like heaven. I'll heat up some frozen veggies to throw on too.
Or we make kimchi poggumbap!
Sometimes we just snack. We have even done cereal. It's so sad when we don't have anything planned for dinner.
Quick meals are tacos or pancakes.

Hotdogs, baked beans and macaroni salad or Sloppy Joes, Tator tots, and corn. My kids could live on both meals. I usually end up w/ a salad on hotdog night. I would love to have a homecooked meal every night, especially during ball season!
When I'm at the last minute, I tend to make cheese omelets!
