I was super excited to read the sequel to The Modest Proposal that I reviewed earlier this month.  Hometown Girls is a fabulous book!  I read it in 24 hours :) (sorry kids!)  Hometown Girtls was just realeased July 16th.

In Hometown Girls you get to continue following the lives of the Butterfly Girls - Lauren, Chloe, Emma, Jocelyn, and Andrea.  In The Modest Proposal we found out all about Lauren and briefly met and learned about the struggles of the other girls as they face the trials in their life.  I was excited that in Hometown Girls we closely followed Jocelyn and were able to learn more about her secrets.

The book starts out by back tracking a little to remind you (or inform you, if you haven't read The Modest Proposal) of what happened.  Then we find out that Jocelyn has a huge change coming up in her life that takes her back to the house that she inherited from her grandmother.  In that small town she is able to find herself and finally be able to stop hiding her secrets.

Now, what kind of book would this be if there wasn't a little romance in it? :)  She meets up with Jack who has his own secrets but they are able to overcome their differences.

This was a super fun read and I recomend adding it to your "must read" list!
