TinyTongs Review and Giveaway- CLOSED

Have you ever seen or heard about this product? I think it is so ingenuious. What child wouldn't want to use these Tinytongs to eat with.!?
(Okay and what adult wouldn't want to "see how they work" and try them out as well.)

Tinytongs were designed by a mom "looking for a way to make meal time less stressful, less messy and more enjoyable" for her children. She noticed that her young children would often become frustrated when using a fork or a spoon and resort to using their hands to eat with. Tinytongs are designed to grip food and keep it in place providing an easier way for children to get small bites of food into their mouths.

I tried these tinytongs out on a couple of my nieces and nephews and have to tell you they were a huge hit! My nephew is 2 and he loved them! (His older siblings look on jealously. I should have had a couple more pair because they would have had fun eating with them even though they do not need them.) It took him a couple of tries to figure out that he needed to wait to open them until they were in his mouth, but once he figured it out they were very fun for him to use. In fact one day for lunch he was super tired and was not wanting to eat at all (even mac and cheese, which is one of his favorites) but he really needed to eat something before he took his nap. I pulled out the tinytongs and he ate and ate and ate. My niece is 3 and she took them to Famous Daves to try them out.

I like that these tinytongs work on children's fine motor skills without them even realizing it. They pinch the tongs closed and release them also. I teach Kindergarten class for students who are developmentally delayed and I can't wait to use these in my classroom for not only eating, but for games and activities that work on strengthening those fine motor skills. One game I envision trying at the start of the year is a sorting activity using colored pompoms. I think I will have the students use the tongs to grab the pompoms and put them in their right group. I am excited to put them to use!

As a mother I do not think I would use them for every meal because I think it is important for a child to learn to use a fork and spoon properly too, but I can see myself using them at least once a day for some sort of meal or even snack time. Children will love them. No question about it.

Well, I would just want to use these little things for myself, so I guess if I won, I'd still need to order a few more. :)

I will probably let my kids use it to eat, helping to teach my younger how to feed themselves. Imight use it to play some games with them too, that sounds like fun! :)

My child is developmentally delayed and hasn't been able to master a fork or spoon. These would be very helpful. Thanks.

I would have the 1 yr old that I watch use them. He's very into feeding himself, but he doesn't ever like using utensils, so this might work well for him.
