Shirley J's Products {review, upcoming event and contest link}

If you're like me somedays it is 5:00 before I get a chance to actually take a few seconds to think "okay, what is for dinner tonight?" Well I have an something that can help you out with that question, Shirley J's! www.shirleyj.com/4741

If you haven't heard about Shirley J's then you better keep reading. Shirley J's products have been around for over 30 years but are becoming more well known in kitchens across the country. If you have eaten at the Lion House, Joseph Smith Building, Kneaders, or a temple cafeteria, chances are you have already tasted Shirley J's.

Shirley J's products help inspire creative cooking in the kitchen and are friendly to your budget. Most of the mixes are just add water and they store for up to 20 years. It is almost too good to believe that they taste amazing too!

A couple of years ago I was introduced to Shirley J's pizza and pasta sauce. I used to buy at least 4-5 jars of spaghetti sauce a month, but now I buy 4-5 cans of tomato paste and make my own pizza and spaghetti sauce and it saves me about $8-10 a month. Are you like me and use Cream of. . .soups all the time in your dinners? Well then you should try Shirley J's Universal Sauce. It is cheaper and healthier (and I think tastes just as good or better). My husband loves the bread mixes. He is, in fact, making rolls right now.

For all of you readers in the Tri-City Washington area there is an event on Tuesday October 26th from 7-9PM at the Hampton Inn in Richland. (486 Bradley Blvd). Come learn more about Shirley J's products in a fun-filled night. Learn how you can cook dinner, and get rewarded for doing so. There will be free cooking demos and taste testing too. Don't forget about the door prizes where you have a chance to leave with some goodies to try out. I'm going to be there and I hope to see you there too. Invite your friends and family and tell them Charity Miller from Savvy Moms Saves sent you. Your family will be glad you went!

Oh, and this might interest you in checking them out-they just opened up a contest-the first person to cook through their Master 30 Meals cookbook wins a Bosch Mixer!
Gotta go, I think I smell Shirley J's honey wheat rolls coming out of the oven!
