My kids Elementary school focuses a lot on "being green" and environmentally friendly. They have programs set up in the school to teach the kids the importance of this. One of the programs they work with is Grades of Green. They have a wonderful vision and mission.

As part of this program they focus really strongly on trying to have 100% attendance in "trash-free tuesdays". This means that 100% of the children bring a trash free lunch to school. As a family, we try to do this as often as possible as this can help the environment in many ways and also teach our children.

I was really excited for working with Bag It Conscious because their product helps with this perfectly. They sell wonderful reusable sandwich bags and snack bags. Personally, I think that every student should have at least one of these in their lunch boxes at school.

Her bags are made of 100% cotton fabrics and lined with nylon waterproof and food-safe ripstop material. The top closes with velcro. These are easy to clean. You can turn them inside out to shake out or wipe with a damp cloth.

Do you not have school age kids? Thats okay, this product is perfect for you, too. You can fill it will crackers or cheerios for a toddler. You can send it with your husband filled with pretzels or for his sandwich. Or always keep a snack handy in your purse without getting crumbs all over!
