I LOVE this!  Because - really- who has a lot of time to clean?  Normally the weekend hits and we look at our house thinking "EVERY ROOM needs 5 hours... but we only have 2!!"  Now- I say "Ok lets hit the kitchen for 15 minutes and then we will go...." I love it!  We set the timer and go from room to room.  The hard part is stopping when the timer goes off because you want to stay in that room until it looks great but when the rooms ALL look a little better- you are glad you kept going.

My experience with Zaycon

I was given a 40 lbs. box of chicken to review so that I can tell you what your experience will be like with Zaycon Foods.  Your chicken will come in a cardboard box like this (except with a lid on...):

Each case contains four 10-lb bags sealed in a larger bag inside the cardboard case.  This makes it easy to divide up if you are wanting to share your chicken.  My mom came over to help me tackle this project since my little ones wouldn't want to have me do this for very long.

This is what it will look like...

There is a little bit of work that goes into getting your chicken ready to freeze or cook.  We cleaned up our chicken and cut it apart. 

It took us about an hour to clean it up and bag it.  I am extra thorough with getting all the fat and "icky stuff" off of it so it may take you less time than it took me.  Here is our beautiful chicken all ready to bag up.

Now.. to be honest-- I really don't like dealing with raw meat.  This chicken job got to me after a while and it took me a week or so before I could eat my chicken.  It was kind of disgusting to me but I normally buy my chicken all neatly frozen in a bag :)  Ok-- call me a wimp... 

Once I used the chicken I was fine and it was beautiful!  VERY nice quality and it tasted great!  If you don't mind working with raw meat then I recommend this chicken to you 100%!!

Great Coupon Website!

Here is a great website that tells you lots of great coupons codes and promotions for your purchases!

The part I like the most is that they have no secret relationships with retailers, no special incentives, no fine print.

They actually review each coupon they display for accuracy, relevancy and timeliness. They don't make you sort through the expired ones, the fake ones, etc. They actually check them out for you! This would be a great website to keep an eye on for all your holiday shopping!

Blog Feature: Somewhat Simple

I love Stephanies blog Somewhat Simple!  I wanted to share some of my favorites from her blog. 

She just recently posted a Thanksgiving Countdown Jar idea that I love!  This would be a great project for this weekend (she has 27 days of ideas...)

You can even purchase it from her etsy shop or she gave details of what kinds of items she put inside.  You fill up the jar with ideas of how do do something to show gratitude.  Everyday you take one out and do it.  Some examples are:

"I am thankful gor Grandparents! Call and tell them 'I love you.  I am grateful for you!'"

"I am thankful for our car! Clean out the car, and go get some ice cream cones in it!"

"I am thankful for my toys!  Give some of your toys to Goodwill to give to other kids!"

"I am thankful for my kitchen!  Bake something fun together in the kitchen!"

There are so many more!  I love how the ideas aren't just something really easy, that some of them take time.  If we ARE grateful for things (our car) we SHOULD take care of it!

Another idea I loved is her Paperbag Scrapbook.  I have seen this another place and have been meaning to make it.

Good Reads

It is always hard for me to remember what books I read, what I thought of them, and what books I want to read next.  I discovered http://www.goodreads.com/ about a year ago and love it!  You are able to connect with friends and see what they are reading and also see what they have read.  It makes it easy to get ideas for new books to read. 

Goodreads also has giveaways!  If you go to the explore tab and then click books- you will see a tab labled giveaways!  You can enter to win books that are soon to be coming out.  I love being able to keep track of all of my books!  I wish they had a goodmovies.com!
