Shirley J {Review & Giveaway}

Wholly Guacamole {Review}

Wholly sent me a fabulous variety of their products.  My family was more than willing to help me review this product. First let me tell you a little bit about the products (info is taken from their website...) so you can know what one you want to try first. 

Wholly Queso:

Wholly sent me the Medium salsa to try out as well "Sometimes the middle of the road is the best place to be, especially when it comes to our super fresh tasting, totally good for ya Wholly Salsa "Medium" flavor. It won't kill your sensitive taste buds but they'll know they've been in a fight - a very tasty flavorlicious one at that!"

Their salsa also comes in 3.6 oz. snack packs!

What I thought:

We all loved the products.  I loved that I could send the snack pacls of salsa in my husband's lunches too.  It made a great addition to his meals.  The guacamole is fresh and fabulous we loved the pouches it came in because it made it easy to store and use.  The salsa was great too and the queso cheese was fun.  They are definitely a YUMMY addition to any meal and will be fun to use during the holidays.  SMS recommends Wholly 100%!

Kikkoman {Review}

Kikkoman has always been my secret ingredient.  I LOVE adding it to my dishes for a splash of flavor.  Up until recently I only had ever used their Soy Sauce and Teriyaki Sauce.  My new favorite Kikkoman product is their Panko!  It adds a great touch and texture to your meals.  A great addition to your Holiday meals would be these Panko Crusted Potato Cakes!

I love how Kikkoman has a large variety of products- you are bound to find something you love.

Try adding some pizazz to your yams this year by using Kikkoman Teriyaki Baste & Glaze with Honey & Pineapple.  The recipe is HERE

My experience with Zaycon

I was given a 40 lbs. box of chicken to review so that I can tell you what your experience will be like with Zaycon Foods.  Your chicken will come in a cardboard box like this (except with a lid on...):

Each case contains four 10-lb bags sealed in a larger bag inside the cardboard case.  This makes it easy to divide up if you are wanting to share your chicken.  My mom came over to help me tackle this project since my little ones wouldn't want to have me do this for very long.

This is what it will look like...

There is a little bit of work that goes into getting your chicken ready to freeze or cook.  We cleaned up our chicken and cut it apart. 

It took us about an hour to clean it up and bag it.  I am extra thorough with getting all the fat and "icky stuff" off of it so it may take you less time than it took me.  Here is our beautiful chicken all ready to bag up.

Now.. to be honest-- I really don't like dealing with raw meat.  This chicken job got to me after a while and it took me a week or so before I could eat my chicken.  It was kind of disgusting to me but I normally buy my chicken all neatly frozen in a bag :)  Ok-- call me a wimp... 

Once I used the chicken I was fine and it was beautiful!  VERY nice quality and it tasted great!  If you don't mind working with raw meat then I recommend this chicken to you 100%!!

Sugar Mohawk is my new best friend!  I am a HUGE fan of SMORES and Sugar Mohawk had so many different yummy treats to choose from!  I ended up getting the Twix Smores:

I even froze one to see how they would turn out after they were frozen and they actually were just fine!  I loved these and will definelty be tempted to purchase these in the future.

Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake!

I LOVE Peanut Butter cups!!  I think it is one of my favorite candy bars.  This was fabulous.  I really liked the topping of course!  The crazy part is that she uses REDUCED FAT products when she makes her cheesecake.  I wouldn't have guessed by the taste. 

There are all kinds of cheesecakes from her Etsy store.  In July she has a cheesecake called mudslide coming- that sounds amazing!

Doesn't that look fabulous!?  The cheesecake is mailed so it didn't look quite as good as these ones do, but it still tasted great.

Bliss Brownies {Review & Giveaway}
