CSN {Review}

CSN is one of my new favorite places to shop!  This last time I got a new game to play with my husband.  I LOVE Rio Grande Games!  Carcassonne is one of our favorites since it is a two player game.  I didn't realize when I got the traders and builders edition that it wasn't a complete game but actually adds on to the original Carcassonne (we have another version of Carcassonne) luckily my sister had the original so we borrowed it from her so we could play this.  I guess I will have to make my next CSN purchase the original Carcassonne :)

If you are looking for a great game this is a 2-6 player game!!  I love it! 

I also had to get this sequencing game for my daughter and to do during my preschool day. 

My daughter LOVES it!  It has 126 double sided cards and fits nicely with the 741 standard size and 742 midsize pocket charts.  It would be great for your preschool age child.

CSN Discovery Kids Toy Laptop {Review}

Discovery Kids Toy Laptop

I was able to review this laptop... or should I say my daughter did most of the reviewing... from CSN.  My daughter turned 4 this last week as many of you know and I was so excited that I was able to get her this for her birthday present.  She has been wanting a laptop for a while but I have been dragging my feet buying one. 

The Discovery Kids laptop is available in blue or purple and you don't need to buy any extra discs or cartridges to go with it.  All the games and activities are already on it.  There are over 30 games and activities and comes with a mouse that you can use.  If your child is not ready to use the mouse or if you are traveling you can just use the keys on the keyboard instead. 

I love how the laptop folds up and has a handy handle that you can carry it with. 

There were a few things that I wish were different though.  One being the screen- it is a little small in my opinion and the laptop does seem a little less durable than I would have expected. 

It has held up just fine though and is for ages 6+ so they probably didn't think they needed to make it super durable. 

Overall my daughter loves it and will like it more once she can read and do more of the things on her own.

Giggle Junction {Review and Giveaway}

I always wanted to get an I Spy bag for my daughter. I think they are so fun and entertaining. It can take alot of attention and time to find everything. It is a great quiet activity that you can use for a quiet time. We were lucky enough to be sent an I Spy bag from Giggle Junction. It is so darling. They have many different themes. Here is the one we got.

Her designs are so cute and sewn on really well. Her bags are not only stitched they are double stitched. Some of the bags have smaller holes, which I think would make it a little harder to find some things, but that is the point of an I spy bag. The plastic seems thick that holds all the tiny beads that all the different objects are hidden in. There are over 30 things to find just in one bag. I love the attached tag that has a picture of all the items that you need to find. I think that is a nice feature so that you are able to know what you are looking for and what it looks like.

Copycrafts {Review & Giveaway}

I have become a HUGE FAN of CopyCrafts!  I have really wanted to buy/make/steal/or otherwise acquire a quiet book!  Everyone kept telling me "Just make up your own pattern and go for it!"  I kept thinking... "Yeah right!"  CopyCrafts saved me from having to do that.
